A Love Letter to the Ocean

This is a love letter to the ocean.

Who should love you but me? You are the perfect lover.

No matter how long I stay away from you, you never stray. You always welcome me back with a steady tide and a strong wind.

Your salt sand cleans by sins from all other lovers, who corrupt me, but you, ocean, purify me, scrubbing to a new level I didn't know existed.

I battle the highway. The traffic. The hotels, motels, high priced villas. I strike at them all to seek your pillowy sand. I resist the urge to roll in pleasure and plunge myself suicidally in your murky depths.

And I pledge my heart and my soul to your eternal horizons, as long as you will have me.
